That doesn’t mean that they can’t franchise tag him. Any player can be that’s a UFA.

Just read a "tweet" from Chris Rosvoglu stating that the Saints tried to acquire Green however the Bengals didn't budge.

That organization may have held him back for possibly getting fitted for a Championship Ring in a few months.

The Bengals franchise are the real losers here. AJ reminds me of Andre Johnson ... great players never ever sniffing a chance at greatness on piss poor teams with no direction.

At least the Saints tried to get better at a position of need.
