Re: Would A Deal For Dez Do It?

No team wanted Dez at all last year. We only waited half way through the season once we got desperate.

I'd rather trade for AJ Green. Dez is done.

Today was the deadline. They can't trade for Green, or anyone now.

Dez could maybe, at least, give the Saints an extra red zone target even if he doesn't help much between the 20's. If Dez took the roster spot of someone like Austin Carr, would you say the Saints are worse off?

I’d take Dez over Carr..

The Saints WR depth is a problem.

I hope this doesn't come back to bite us in the post season.

The only guy I would even consider signing off the couch is Dez but that's just me.

I have a feeling they are expecting Smith and Cook to be that depth.

Re: Would A Deal For Dez Do It?

At this point, I think Sean Payton & his coaches may have more faith in recently promoted Krishawn Hogan (played in 10 snaps vs Cards) than any outsider and he's cheap. Slightly bigger & faster than Dez ... potentially a red zone target.

I could be wrong but I don't believe Dez is in the Cards for NO.

BTW Baldy broke down a Saints run play where Latavius Murray had a very nice run. The key block was set by Krishawn which allowed such a substantial gain. He definitely helped his cause this past Sunday.

If anyone has access to that play, please post it. It's worth showing.

Gordon, Dez, AB, Crabtree, Marshall, Garcon... lot of flotsam floating around out there if someone is desperate
