Also the Saints receiving corps is basically @CantGuardMike; a number of guys who're injured, just not stepping up haven't relieved the double/triple teams with the exception of RB Kamara and TE Josh Hill... Gordon is a well-documented, uber-talented, problem-child wide receiver, so the situation was fluid, but, by no means, was it a slam-dunk he wasn't given serious discussion in the Saints offices... But I would've bet money (no I wouldn't bet on Payton's thought process) that he's never sign someone with Granderson's baggage, and yet here he is... |
