I would absolutely like to see more of CGJ but I want PJ in there starting. PJ can play outside if Apple or Lat goes down and I would rather have him transition from the slot to corner as opposed to off the bench. Think it will make an easier transition if he’s still gelling with the rest of them.

Re: Saints Bye Week Game Day Thread

CBJ is already better than PJ covering the slot, so I'll take Gardner for $500, Alex...

If I'm gonna fall on the battlefield, I don't want any bullets left in the chamber nor me dirk in me sock...

Trubisky looking like a good back up today. Nothing down field.

Offensively they are terrible.

Titans Defense leaves McCaffery wide open on 4th & 2 near the goal. Is Spagnola their d coordinator? [emoji1787]

Allen is better than Newton.

Titans have made some errors though which led to points.

Coaching. Nagy is an idiot. Trying to install his offense rather than play with the pieces he has...

Confirmed this whil watching 2018 Bears @ Packers matchup; Khalil Mack had had an All-World Coming Out Party and Aaron Rodgers was ready to quit...

Then Nagy kept going with diminutive Tarik Cohen instead of pounding away at the Packers with a fresh, healthy Jordan Howard; Nagy kept calling pass play after pass play and that defensive line was gasped...

But, eventually that young Packers secondary starting getting the best of the Bears receivers; and worse, Robinson was on the sidelines; Nagy gave Rodgers a second chance, so the end was no surprise...

Was glad they lost despite impressive games from Khalil Mack and Akiem Hicks; Bears have the talent to go deep in the playoffs, even Trubisky has the talent to get it done. It's the coaching that is the problem...

Nagy is an idiot and the Bears won't be relevant till they jettison Nagy and get a coach that plays chess with the pieces he's got rather than trying to get all the same pieces for checkers...

That game was ridiculous. The Bears defense acted like they were scared to touch Rodgers in the second half. They also acted as if they had a gameplan and once it ran out, they just didn't know what to do after that. They looked clueless that whole second half.

I don't get why Seattle is so hyped up this year and people are worried about them.

They've won 5 games by a combined 15 points, with 7 of that being from the Falcons game last week.

Now they are getting their clocks cleaned by a trash Bucs team.

Vikings finally play a winning team and surprise surprise, Kirk Cousins can't deliver in the clutch.

I hope the Packers lose, it would help us out.

LOL at Adam Gase getting clowned in Miami. Maybe, just maybe people will finally realize he has always sucked as a head coach. People need to stop giving him credit for the 2013 Broncos. That was Peyton's team, all Gase did was stand there and hold a clipboard.

Completely disagree. Trubisky needs to have a seat. He's not NFL starting caliber QB material. Philly's secondary is ranked 33rd in the league  9 total yards in the 1st half? Going up to get Mitch in the draft was a colossal mistake by Pace and company.

Bears need to evaluate the QB and OL this off season.

R.I.P. Chicago.

Trubisky is pretty much a diet coke Dak Prescott....

It's shocking that they traded up for him and passed on both Watson and Mahomes.

I see that Odell and Jarvis have both been told by NFL authorities that if they don't comply with the league rules (inappropriate cleats) at the half, they will not be allowed to play 2nd half.

The Browns are such a undisciplined team. No wonder they've lost 3 straight games. But it starts at the top with Kitchens though.

CHA_CHING 11-03-2019 04:52 PM

Re: Saints Bye Week Game Day Thread

Browns are definitely undisciplined. They're also ranked in the top 3 on penalties.

Starts with Kitchens, but they also have a douchebag quarterback who they blindly believed to be a future HoFer after he had just an OK rookie season.

Their failures couldn't have happened to a nicer bunch of people. I just feel bad for their fans cause those fans have long endured suffering and now it looked as if they finally were about to have a good team to root for, then it blew up in everyone's face.

Looks like all these supposedly tough teams we’ve beat have just turned out to be pretty ****ty. We haven’t been tested yet. Carolina is going to be tough, Rams are decent and SF is real. Don’t get surprised when we get our asses handed to us.

SF has the easiest schedule in the NFC. Both they and New England are beating up on cupcakes. One of them is battle tested and the defending champs, the other is still a question mark.

Another team benefiting from playing cupcakes - the Packers, who even with an easy schedule needed ref help to get past Detroit. It's going to really help Green Bay this year that the NFC North is turning out to be crap yet again as it always has been in Aaron Rodgers' career when they dominate it.

We've beaten better teams than all 3 of those teams.

The key to beating SF is shutting down their run game and make jimmy g beat you and neutralize their pass rush to expose their SUSPECT pass defense. But they are a solid overall team. Now the packers they are as overrated as it gets you are totally correct.

I agree with you on beating SF. They really have not faced any teams with threatening offenses yet that can hurt them. Maybe the Rams, but that team hasn't looked the same since the Pats undressed and exposed their offense in the SB.

The Packers are overrated as hell. They are the REAL team who benefits from a crap division, as I have posted many times demonstrating. They will squeak into the playoffs thanks to the NFC North being god awful, and then go one and done or get embarrassingly blown out in the divisional round.

I also like to remind people on day's like this - Aaron Rodgers has a career losing record on the road. Remove the games at Chicago, Detroit and Minnesota, and his QBR and other stats drop to the floor.

Re: Saints Bye Week Game Day Thread

For you guys who talk about the refs and stuff, Green Bay is the one team that really would concern me in that kind of scenario.

I have never seen another team besides Seattle get the calls the Packers get in the playoffs. They even get them on the road. See 2016 when the refs called a bizarre WTF call on Dallas that had not been heard since the 1980s and late in that game, they called back a Rodgers INT on a tick-tacky call to keep them alive in the game.

If GB makes the NFCCG, I'd be scared they would try to help them to get that long awaited Rodgers vs Brady SB. Green Bay is the league's golden calf.

CHA_CHING 11-03-2019 05:48 PM

Re: Saints Bye Week Game Day Thread

Green Bay is so badly exposed in this game.

Chargers basically running that same 2015 gameplan that Denver ran. It's not hard to beat Aaron Rodgers. You blanket everyone down field, then rush him with 4 and be ready to knock him down when he escapes the pocket. He isn't going to bother taking risks throwing into tight coverage, he'd rather take the sacks or throw out of bounds. His stats will still be fine though cause Rodgers always has played to protect his stats over winning.

Most overrated HoFer QB of this era, bar none. GB went 7-1 thanks to playing a cupcake schedule and their defense. They were barely winning games against trash teams. 2 blowout wins against the Cowboys and Raiders, big deal.

He should win MVP for the fact that team really would be trash without him. They have struggled immensely to bad teams. Wilson is pulling magic plays out the hat kinda like 1991 Randall Cunningham.
