God and the Saints?

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; This would be interesting to know. It seems like most of Louisiana would have made this deal and by golly... it happened... Would any of you have made this deal with God on Friday Night? If God would have told ...

If God would have told you that in order for LSU to win against Alabama on Saturday and because the Saints alway suck at least one game a year, the Saints would have to lose to Atlanta in the Superdome on Sunday. Would any of you accepted that deal?

Most of Louisiana would have made this deal because it was such a huge deal for LSU. That game was unbelievable for LSU fans!

So now you know why the Saints lost.

No way in Hell. I don't care what LSU does. I have one team and one team only and that has always been the Saints. I don't get the whole pulling for a college that you never attended. I'll bet you that 95% of so called LSU fans have never taken a single course at LSU-Baton Rouge.

What a Bozo? You live in Louisiana?

I watched all of the Saints games for over 40 years.

Still, you maybe right...
I have never taken a course at LSU but LSU has alway been part of my life for 60+ years. I have best friends and a daughter that all graduated from there.

Re: God and the Saints?

Because of the college football playoff structure, the Tigers needed the regular season win a lot more than we did. And Bama been getting on my nerves. So yes it's an acceptable bargain ... but please tell me in advance next time

Looks like we have a lot of Alabama fans and they got it twice up the butt so they are still mad.

Seems many other wanted the Saints to suck out a game for another reason or no reason. Care to point your answer to that stupid question since it happened that way? I just pointed out a pretty cool reason for most Louisiana football fans.

Besides...God over us all anyway... except LSU fans. LOL...

I could have used the Devil instead of GOD
But the Devil wears red and is not a Tigers fan!

And I suppose you played for, or were affiliated with the Saints? What a dumb, grumpy comment.

Re: God and the Saints?

This loss to Atlanta would bug me a lot more if it was a close, winnable game that we squandered. So many people say the blowout losses bother them the most, but they don't for me. I can easily move past them. It's the close losses at the last minute you spend all your time analyzing and thinking "what if we did this, what if we did that"

Yes I get over a blowout loss quickly also. I just try to lesson the pain for others with BS post I hope I’m not offending.
