Re: Saints Solution

We had a good balance of run and passing last year which is the main reason we had a genuine chance. I have noticed since Drew got back that this has changed. Agree we need a better balance between the attacking options.

Can we have conversation with context?....Some plays not all come with "Kill" plays when a certain look is given. I don't think Drew is aimlessly changing plays just for the fun of it. Idk what some of you mean by "Drew changes the play"? Some of you have a issue with any and everything when it "doesn't" work. Are we nitpicking or critically analyzing I can't tell anymore

Anyone who truly thinks Brees would audible out of a running play into a pass play for personal glorification is beyond stupid. If Brees "kills" a play it is solely based upon the defensive alignment. In fact, I seem to remember a play that Brees killed that ended up being a run, instead. Atlanta's game plan was clearly to sell out against the run. They were willing to let the Saints try to beat them with Thomas alone.

Ummm. No one entertaining the possibility that we lost because our Defense has had its worst showing since week 3? They were sloppy, very sloppy and allowed Atlanta to have the ball for 7 minutes longer than we did.

That the run game wasn't here because our offensive line was too busy giving Atlanta 6 sacks and 5 tackles behind the line of scrimmage?

That just about all teams start passing when they are 2 scores down?

Ever consider that Bridgewater and our running game never had to play out of a hole?

Nahhhh, lets not ground anything in reality.

Panic is the recipe of the week. Lose a game and panic.

I agree with this. We have the Line and the RB's to do it.

And how many of those plays end up being a run? Anyone? Anyone? Anyone?

Couple of other thoughts on Drew making Audibles...

One, Drew isn't rotating the packages, players in each play, so we can't hang that on him if Payton isn't sending in Ingram, I mean Murray...

Two, Drew is the most prolific passer in NFL history, while he's not above being questioned on a play, hasn't he earned that discretion?

Third, what are the expectations of effective blocking, run or pass, when you've an offensive line that features a Dancing Bear at LT who plays just over half a season, two pussies at the guards and a rookie center?

Dancing bear, two pussies - one who now has a broken arm, rookie center who is playing great and a pro bowl tackle were doing pretty damn well till this game.

We need Taysom to suit up to replace Peat
