Kaepernick brought to his workout the exact reason no one wants to touch him... drama.

- Wasn't happy with the original day.
- Demanded to know who would be there in advance.
- Changed the venue at the last minute.

The 'all about me' train derailed his career.

It doesn't matter if he can run a 3s 40yd or throw a 200 yard bullet, he has none of the qualities you look for in a QB or leader.

He’s not as accurate as Lamar because he lacks touch, but this is a new league. They’re finally realizing you can do things multiple ways. College might actually be more innovative offensively than the NFL. The option and **** like that can definitely work if you do it every and now and then instead of every play like ARMY and NAVY back in the day.

When it comes to a QB like Kap, I don’t see how the forums can champion Taysom Hill when he’s practically the same player. Taysom is seemingly getting better at throwing in his 30’s, so why couldn’t Kap? What makes him incapable? These opinions of him are rooted more in politics than in football. He kneeled. He protested. He does what he does for the community. It’s documented. Let it be.

I view Taysom as humble, do "anything for the team" player who's accomplished at just about every position on the field - with a smile.

I view Kap as somewhat divisive and obviously distracting. All things you want to avoid when cohesiveness is paramount to winning.

Besides, you can find half a dozen QBs with the same skills for less money. His latest workout proved that.

Kaepernick develoved this attitude when he started dating an activist radio host in Oakland. Very clear to see. He's not genuine. His "activism" was motivated from below his waist.

He doesn't vote, a right 'his people' fought and died for, but walks around praising "Che" and wearing a Kunta Kinte t-shirt.

LOL. What a maroon. That anyone would take him seriously is an indictment on them.

Precisely.... Stephen A Smith agrees with you.

He's still at home right? That's where people with little to no football talent should be. SP wants a leader who brings unity to the team. He is not that player.

Re: Saints won’t be at Colin Kaepernick’s workout

This "workout" was little more than a PR stunt. The guy hasn't played NFL football since 2016 and he suuuked that last season, only winning two games against the equally bad Rams. On top of that he and comes with a crap-ton of baggage. This "tryout" was scheduled so Nike could squeeze a few more dollars out of the Kaepernick endorsement / marketing campaign. Nike don't care about Kaepernick's cause unless is sells shoes (PERIOD)

Now that that is done with (HOPEFULLY)....can KweperNike do us all favor and go away like every other SB loosing QB. Go away mad if you want. I don't care. Just go away.

Unfortunately, that probably won't happen until he's no longer useful to Nike. Lord knows the NFL teams reached that conclusion in 2016.

Interesting read. Even if true it's hard to blame the league for return posture, considering Kaepernik is positioning for another lawsuit.

His drama bores me. We watch the same way we crane our necks to see a roadside accident. He doesn't want to play football. His selfishness and manipulation doesn't warrant the media attention. Why have special concessions been made for him? Why? I feel other QB's who have not been able to work after mediocre careers, now have the opportunity to ask why as well. The NFL is beginning to look foolish and needs to move on. It appears to be a case of the squeaky wheel getting oiled, but the squeaky wheel in no longer employed by an NFL team, it makes no sense. We need to quit rewarding mediocrity in this time of everyone getting a trophy for participating. This thread perpetuates his drama, as do I here. I guess I am as guilty of keeping this alive.

I believe many people have trouble articulating what exactly they don't like about what he did... I have no trouble with that.

We are a nation founded on dissent and to resist through protest is quintessentially American; we do not just do it, we founded a new nation doing it. Being a veteran and defending the Constitution is irrelevant here, The US Constitution only limits the governments ability to prosecute for speech, not the free public or private sector persecuting it.

To campaign and advertise that you will stage a protest to allow people to join you and then protest in public takes a bit of character, bravery, and drive.

To forcibly subject an unwilling, unsuspecting, captive audience to your off-top protest is cowardice. Kaepernick, college Professors, teachers that use a venue specific to something as their pulpit to force an audience to be subjected to their personal believes and feelings is very low character.

If you can not do the 'right thing' the 'right way' then you are no better than the cops that justify abuse under the guise of enforcing the law.

Exceptionally well said Sir.
