I think it means he's afraid of Armstead going down without a quality backup on the game day roster. Peat may be the weakest link on the O-line but he's the best LT backup that we've got. I fully expect to see Peat replaced this off season with younger cheaper talent.

What we need, and would be easier to find, is a Right Tackle reserve, let Ramczyk take over the LT spot not if, but when Armstead goes down, again... Was in Team Peat's camp until Smash told us he was clearly out-of-shape at the Tulane Yulman Open Practice - Peat lost me at that point... Andrus had played well despite some significant injuries, but a compensated professional athelete out-of-shape, that's bullshinski, not with the resources available to the NFL players... |
