Re: Did Demario Davis Spare Matt Ryan?
^^^ Tuttle had better hands than Ginn & Tre last night. One of more acrobatic catches I've seen this year. Tuttle weighs over 300 lbs and if not for that angle, he would have out ran Matt to the end zone.
That stiff arm was vicious. Fantastic play. I didn't have him on my radar @ camp but he is turning into a very promising (12 tackles for 2019) player. Could become a undrafted gem in a year or two. We have some legit D line players in New Orleans + coach Ryan Nielsen is bringing out the best in each of them. |

What do you do with those two ? My fear is that if Shimmy Rankins leaves, dude ends up a monster else where. IMO he's not playing at 100% + he missed a lot of training camp. I wouldn't allow Onyemata to walk. He's become progressively better each year. |

There are a few key plays in a game where someone has the premeditation to hit or hurt someone. Everything is bang bang bang.... when you see poor tackling it’s not that they don’t know the proper technique it’s that they haven’t done it enough for it to be second nature. Great tacklers rarely screw up because the don’t think much about it, it’s just reaction. It’s been said before and rarely resonated but it’s very accurate. After the snap, Football is a game of fractional reaction times and those that have to think look and are just slow. |

Part of being a team that nails it in the draft and in the evaluation of UDFA’s is being able to let guys go and have players waiting to seamlessly slide right in to their spot. |

I'm glad Davis didn't do anything dirty there like twisting his ankle. We're not about that stuff.
