The defense was poor but glossing over the fact Kamara fumbled inside his own 20, and twice they got the ball at the halfway line and scored 3pts. Not too mention going for two when completely unnecessary and constantly feeding Kamara 13 carries for 25 yards and leaving Murray twiddling his thumbs on the sideline 7 for 69.

Both sides of the ball blew this up at different times.

Kamara isn't running hard at all, doesnt look anything like he did in the first games without Drew. Business decisions and I'm fully expecting a no show until a new contract happens in the off season

"Two receivers to the left, Garcon to the right. Manning in the shotgun, puts Collie in motion. Looks in his direction...it's picked off! It's picked off! It's Tracy Porter again! He's runnin' free! He's gonna go all the way!

"Jimmy Graham" situation all over again. Took the beating early in the career, rookie contract, business decisions on the field...

You're exactly right, Lee. I see certain comments of people admonishing the mere thought that anyone might have of giving the offense some blame, but the play caller on that side of the ball (Payton) was ignoring Murray's success in favor of feeding the "star" in vain.

I was telling my dad a few days ago that the Saints needed to run right up the middle against them, because they are an undersized front who relies on speed and quickness to get to the QB. And right away, Murray had some good runs up the middle, but Payton couldn't stand prosperity, and he had to pitch it WIDE, working right into the 71ers strength of getting off the edge. That killed several drives.

So while the defense obviously deserves the most blame, along with more awful officiating, Payton's ego of trying to trick people for no reason got in the way of what was an otherwise great day for the offense.

If I had a nickel for every time I heard that, the NFL would fine and suspend me.

Two words....Zach Line!

Murray needs a blocker to really get going.

Why does he need Zach Line? Nobody stooped him today, other than Sean Payton. That's really all there is to it. Payton needs to take the blinders off, and actually ask himself what Kamara is doing to help this offense right now.

I'll leave it to others to speculate on injury, or business decisions by Kamara, but one thing is clear and is a fact. Kamara is not producing, and Murray is. Ride the hot hand.

Good points. If you've played football before then you must know what it's like to play less than 100% where the other teams average players are making plays on you because you can't quite slip their grip. That's Kamara lately. I hear people saying that's he's mailing it in and that a new contract will fix the problem. I say bull ****! The only thing that will fix him is Sean Payton not putting him through the grinder early in the year and giving him knee and ankle injuries. Try to run with either banged up against NFL talent. Much less both! Beer rant over.
