While I don't like the fact that he was tweeting during practice, I do agree with him that most people on Twitter are retarded.

Even if he is stopgap for the next 2 months this is a great move.
Since he was waived, his $12,500,000 for next year is voided I believe

edit- we will owe him 11.25 next year

His contract is not voided. Giants were looking for an excuse to dump salaries for cap space heading into FA.

Not really, considering it's for 2 games.

Don't get me wrong, I love the move, but from a financial standpoint he will need to restructure next year to stay with the team. He is due for 12m next year which we are now on the hook for, but if cut I am not sure how the dead money would go.

Hopefully he lives up to his potential for us, he gives us the best CB duo in the game and you know he has to be thrilled with the situation he just fell into.

It looks like his cap hit next season is $11.25 million but none of it is guaranteed. It’s truly just a rental.
