But, the sampling is within just a few games, so it leads me to questions...

  • Has he an unadvertised injury? All NFL teams just overlook reporting it...

  • Has the scheme, coverage been tweaked, for whatever reasons, and no longer favorable to his skill-set?

  • Does he have other off-field issues going on that's affecting his focus, distracting him?

Look, he was balling out for the first half of the season, then the bottom falls out on his game? That just doesn't make sense...

And it may be on him, the scheme, unreported injury, but that just doesn't make sense for a guy to have come in last season, take the defense up a notch, start this season lights-out, then what? Crap?

It's tough playing such a physical game when you are injured. My guess is that he hasn't either fully healed or he hasn't regained confidence in his knee after he finished rehab. He played very well after he caught onto the scheme last year and he looked like an improved player with a first round grade before his injury. I believe that like Kamara he isn't fully healed yet and it shows on the field. Leg injuries can drastically slow down your ability to get around the field. I'm hoping that he gets better both physically and in his on the field performance.

Is this the same Charley Weis also thought Brady Quinn was a GREAT QB? He should never be allowed to coach again!!!!!

Almost as STUPID as a player from a Canadian School making the Pro Bowl in the NFL!!!!

To put a positive spin on JJ, a few of those Tanneyhill sacks can be attributed to excellent coverage in the secondary.

Kinda early to judge Jack Rabbit. He'll progress as he gets familiar with the system & players around him.

He’s sounding motivated to be here a while.

Hebert straight up said he HOPED Apple goes to IR so Jack Rabbit can start.
****ty thing to say.
I also think Apples play has been hindered due to injury. He hasn’t been the same since and like others have said I don’t see any other reason why his play would drop off so drastically.
Most of the time he’s a step behind, it’s not like there’s huge breakdowns in coverage from what I can tell.
All that said, if Jenkins is the better/healthier player right now then let Apple rest. Watch him come roaring back like Charles Brown.
