I really do think he'd put him on the list just because of us. Goodell hates us. We are a small market team that is competing every single year. He's a corrupt commissioner that doesn't care about equity existing in the league.

I doubt it. Payton is serious about doing what it takes this year. He doesn't seem to be leaving any stone unturned at this point.

Sean Payton is a forward thinker, chess player. This is a calculated move by the organization. I'm sure in those private meetings, they've discussed bringing in AB for a "visit" and possible subsequent signing weeks ago. Win now mode.

IMO the Saints are built to win it all without AB, but imagine having him AND Michael Thomas on the same team.

As long as he knows Thomas is #1, bring him on board. Imagine secondaries trying to guard both these guys and Cook.

At this point I would sign him. If we sign him he gets put on the list but if Seattle signs him they have another weapon.

I would sign him... we only need him for the playoffs. It would be different if we needed him for a season or long term.
