That seriously has to be an NFL record.
You better believe we will see that in the playoffs.

I hope so. That would mean the other team was in a position of total desperation. Their chance of recovery would be minuscule. Those that were successful by the Falcon's kicker were a perfect execution which would be near impossible to duplicate.

Doesn’t have to be total desperation — that’s why ambush worked in the SB for us. Secondly, chance of recovery is probably just as good as our D stopping them with less than a minute to go (i.e. SF game and others).

As for losses due to onside kicks, just keep flicking matches at the gasoline and eventually you’ll hit it. Statistics, not opinions.

Why is there always an excuse to dismiss glaring concerns? Ask Payton to his face if it concerns him.

I'm sure it doesn't concern him in the least. He too knows they were extremely rare perfect kicks that could not have bounced more perfectly. The new rules make the chances of recovering an onside quick extremely unlikely. The reason "ambush" worked is because it was a surprise and the old rules allowed the kicking team to be running toward the line on the kick approach. Apples and orange.

I see no "glaring concern".

“Doesn’t concern me in the least” - Sean Payton?

6% recovered league wide....over 60% recovered against Saints, probably higher without penalties negating them.

Yes, it’s a concern to anyone who wants to win football games.

Definitely a concern.
The two by Chicago were not perfect kicks- just really, really, poor execution. The first one vs Atl wasn't perfect either
