It’ll be the same story next season. 3 seasons in a row that Brees (and others) don’t show up in the playoffs. Taysom was the only reason we were in this game at all.

I just want something to change and I am hoping it’s Drew calling it quits.

True and 49ers are going to mess them over.

(I had Vikings playing wrong team.)

You Brees naysayers are crazy
Did he fold under pressure and make 2 bad turnovers?

Yes

Has this ever happened before?

Call for Peat or Warford’s head today not Drew’s

I did as well as Smash starting way back @ training camp. There is no way Peat should return. He's a liability and weak link on the line. Easton picked up the slack while Peat was injured and didn't miss a beat. Wouldn't call Andrus a bust, however he's been a very underwhelming player considering where he was drafted.

I expect his position to be addressed in the off season.

Another no call OPI.

Kamara still not himself.

Sucks to lose.

Short list... you b.itcheded more in person during the game.

Re: Observations from Saints loss to the Vilings

The o-line play sucked. Yep, Brees didn’t play well. Yep, Kamara looked bad. But pocket time and holes for a run game were nonexistent. The Saints signature screen didn’t exist all year because every screen was a naked screen, because the line never got down field.

Quick Hits

  • Go right to it - we had 'em, we absolutely had 'em, Taysom was killin' 'em and once again, Sean showed everyone it was his team and he was smarter than everyone else...

  • Don't know if we're not running it enough in practice, but Drew, and even Taysom, underthrew our WRs down the field...

  • Speaking of deep throws, trusting Ginn this long is all on Payton-Mickster - the guy doesn't fight for the ball and that should not be allowed on the roster...

  • We won't find out so long as Payton is in New Orleans & Saints Media Muscle Greg Bensel strong-arms our press, but I'd like to know what happened with Lattimore down the stretch, in game, not good...

  • Took way too long to get Jared Cook going; may be wrong, but I don't recall his first target till the fourth quarter on a brilliant drive...

  • AJ Klein and Trey Hendrickson took sh*t all year from this fanbase, but both those guys made plays that kept us in the game...

  • Still believe Onyemata is a better, more reliable, available, DT3 than Rankins, but not having Davenport really hurt; and having two first round picks on IR doesn't get it done in the playoffs...

  • One more thought on Davenport, it's not on him he was hurt, it was the foolishness in putting two picks into one player when Jeff Ireland has shown he can get it done when he's got the bullets...

  • Transitioning on that thought, Gardner really stepped up as a rookie and while McCoy played to his billing, Gardener was a gift falling to us, along with Shy Tuttle, who's gonna be big for us...

  • It's time for offensive line changes; Ramczyk was All-Pro; if McCoy's on a larger market team, he'd be All-Pro; but the rest of these over-paid clowns didn't gave little return on their investment...

  • We didn't realize it, but the death-blow was not making a WR deal at the trade deadline (KMajor); am told DEN asked for more from NO than SF; no surprise with Payton's reputation on overpaying...

  • Drew didn't seem to have the same energy, concentration, poise today - it happens; should he shut it down, it'll be a sad commentary on Payton not bringing home more Lombardi hardware with Brees at QB...

  • Lastly, there are are many QB with diverse strengths - runners, passers; but very few inspire teammates in the heat of battle the way Taysom Hill does; If Brees retires, Taysom should be our guy...

It's not that my way is the right way, I just make the right way my way...

I wonder if SP will hear it from the meat guy at WholeFoods or if he's even worried about his meat?
