I don't recall anyone saying that he didn't have talent or couldn't do it - only that his head wasn't in the right place and it was confusing as to why he wasn't playing better. But you're right about one thing - he has actually done enough to shut the critics up. He did what he needed to - he proved it on the field. Props to Talman for that. Now if we could only get AB to follow suit... |

I've read people say he sucks and always will, can't catch and never will. Those are the critics I'm referring to. My statement mentions nothing about him not stepping up in the past or underachieving. He needed to take the next natural step in his development, which he has, or appears to have. There are some who will assert that if a player doesn't play well his 1st year, he never will. Thats idiotic. |

OK - well I agree that is a pretty dumb statement ("if a player doesn't play well his 1st year, he never will"), I just don't think that I've heard it all that much.
