does sean need to go to? i'd say his coaching /w teddy starting showed that he can adapt and get out of his element and be successful, but if we're being honest, during that stretch the defense were the ones that mostly bailed us out. but something else to consider, if we were to replace sean, would this franchise be treated differently by the league/officials? its worth considering. while we have applauded sean's brazen attitude towards the league, i'd argue there's a strong chance that it's done us no favors. sean could leave tomorrow and nothing could change, but i do think it deserves mention in any discussion about payton's future here.
Replace Sean Payton? Have you lost your mind?

You know what's funny to me? The glaring overreaction by fans after a loss, especially a playoff loss.

I get some of the "time for Drew to retire" stuff, although I think that he is still very good and far better and certainly more consistent then anything we currently have on the roster.

After a tough loss, it always makes me laugh to watch the "Replace Drew Brees" and fire "Sean Payton" remarks.

We were 13-3 and had a bad game in the playoffs. It happens. Sure, the play calling could've been better, Drew shouldn't have thrown that stupid pick in double coverage and the fumble was huge. But my hell, people screaming for one or both of them to be gone is shocking.

I'm a huge Taysom fan, but I don't think he's gonna be consistently good as an every down QB. Even then, I still like his body of work better than Bridgewater's. Yeah he can't throw the mong ball anymore, but Brees is going to be consistently better than both.

And for those calling for SP's head....I'm sorry...I just can't deal. Lol
