I really do like this signing, the last 3 Seasons the team lost in the playoffs after giving up big plays in the passing game. Worse comes to worse he adds veteran leadership

Sean P/Dennis Allen value veteran leadership on the back end. A smart guy who understands coverages, assignments & disguises. Losing (specifically the secondary) late has cost us W's & premature exits in the playoffs. Leadership on the back end is welcomed & necessary.

Another "Thee" Ohio State Buckeye so you knew it was a lock

Payton rights the wrong he’s always regretted. Jenkins will slide right in at SS and Gardner-Johnson can keep the nickel CB spot locked down.

He's smart and it's the mental breakdowns that have killed us the last three years. Everyone always wants to get younger....I want to get smarter on D and this signing would go a long way toward solidifying a good defense.
