We will actually have more cap space available if we do re-sign Brees as it will undoubtedly include a restructure of the $21.3 million he is currently counting against the 2020 cap from the voidable portion of his last contract.

Oh I get that also Guido. Loomis has proven repeatedly that there is no such thing as a finite number yet we knee jerkingly always assume we know what a new year and contract will bring.

I know everyone else likes Overthecap but I prefer Spotrac with the restructure/cut/trade features to model cap space.

There is so much that can be done with our roster to make cap room.
