Random thoughts about off-season moves

With our loss n the wildcard game I have been thinking about this off-season and the numerous free agents and draft decisions facing the front office.
QB. Drew will be back. Taysom will be back. Teddy is doubtful?

RB Kamara ain't going anywhere ! Murray will be back not sure about any body else and the draft has a lot of depth at RB

WR CGM , Ginn is gone IMHO ,TQS back and I think that we get a vet FA and draft a rookie or two. Once again the draft is deep with quality WRs I see a youth movement happening.

TE Cook is short term fix, I think that an upgrade is needed with an infusion of young talent. Henry Hunter is a FA I would love to have. Not particularly deep draft pool at this position?if

OT We are blessed with a spectacular tandem of Armstead and Ramzcek . Our depth is going to take a hit with the departure of Peat who I doubt returns. Several backups contributed this season. I think that we need to add a potential replacement for Armstead.

OG Peat is going to get more $ from a team desperate for OL Help. The SaInts
value this position more than some other teams and I w would not be surprised if we went after Brandon Scherff or spend a high draft pick Nick Easton is wildcard at guard and also is a backup center.

OC McCoy was a value pick and will be better yet Depth here is a?

DT Malcolm Brown was really impressive last season,Rankins health is an issue , Onyemata was steady but not spectacular may lose him in FA. Mario Edwards has value in that he can play inside and out. Shy Tuttle impressed.
I think that a strong rotation at DT is crucial. So adding talent here always a good idea.

DE Cam is the Defensive anchor ,Davenport showed promise , but injuries a concern, Henderson is high motor quality backup,Granderson showed up
in limited snaps . You never pass up a quality pass rusher.

LB Demario Davis is a force superb, Klein played well, Kiko Alonso won't be back after 3rd ACL and high salary, Anzalone is a injury prone player and I think he might not be back. Dylan Moses is an interesting player that might be on the board when we pick in Rd 1 would love to see him in black and gold. Game changer!

CB Lattimore is shutdown player, Eli is gone, Janoris is an expensive upgrade, PJ earned a another shot , Robinson stays only if he plays at a discount. Chauchey Gardener is a beast CB is an position that will be addressed in the draft

S Von Bell played lights out until he was hurt priority signing, M. Williams will be back ,CGJ has role to play at Safety, There has been talk that Delpit's draft stock is falling he is a player that I would love to have.

ST we are set at K, P , KR, JT Gray needs to be resigned

Teddy was solid and has earned a starting spot....just not here.

Payton forced Kamara into injuries the way he used him. I hope that he heals and comes back as strong as he was before the leg injuries.

WR CGM , Ginn is gone IMHO ,TQS back and I think that we get a vet FA and draft a rookie or two. Once again the draft is deep with quality WRs I see a youth movement happening.
Ginn is gone and TQS should be gone too after his lack of production.

TE Cook is short term fix, I think that an upgrade is needed with an infusion of young talent. Henry Hunter is a FA I would love to have. Not particularly deep draft pool at this position?if
Cook has turned into a weapon when he stopped dropping balls. I believe he's got one more year on his contract. We need to invest in a tight end either in free agency or the draft.

Armstead misses a lot of time and if Peat is gone we will need better depth behind him.

Easton is fine but we need to bring in another stud guard to give Drew the time he needs to make his reads. Let Peat walk.

OC McCoy was a value pick and will be better yet Depth here is a?
If Easton stays he a viable back up.

DT Malcolm Brown was really impressive last season,Rankins health is an issue , Onyemata was steady but not spectacular may lose him in FA. Mario Edwards has value in that he can play inside and out. Shy Tuttle impressed.

What are your thoughts on Rankins? Will we bring him back with the depth we've got behind him?

DE Cam is the Defensive anchor ,Davenport showed promise , but injuries a concern, Henderson is high motor quality backup,Granderson showed up
in limited snaps . You never pass up a quality pass rusher.
When Davenport went out the pass rush changed. I hope that he can stay on the field more.

I want O-line in the first round not a LB'er. Nolan is gone and we know that Allen can't develop LB'ers. We need another free agent.
CB Lattimore is shutdown player, Eli is gone, Janoris is an expensive upgrade, PJ earned a another shot , Robinson stays only if he plays at a discount. Chauchey Gardener is a beast CB is an position that will be addressed in the draft
Oh god, where to begin? It's all a big question mark.

S Von Bell played lights out until he was hurt priority signing, M. Williams will be back ,CGJ has role to play at Safety, There has been talk that Delpit's draft stock is falling he is a player that I would love to have.
True Dat!

ST we are set at K, P , KR, JT Gray needs to be resigned
Agreed

Bring in the same type of positional coaches that turned this franchise around.
