At some point I think we need to start a new linebacker thread. Klein playing great? IDK JP ... in coverage he's been smoked quite a few times this season.

3 years, 3 different levels of disappointment. IMO it's time to change up the strategy when looking at linebackers.

The Saints consistently (as a unit) have had some of the slowest LB units in the league for years. In my mind Demario is the only guy that can routinely make plays from sideline to sideline. The Titans, Chiefs and Niners have DTs that can run down the line and force RB's out on edge (Davenport was sorely missed) plays quicker than some of our LB's do.

Klein is a very intelligent LB however all of the smarts in the world can't help you if you are in 1 on 1 situations on the edge against guys like Dalvin Cook once they get to the edge and turn the corner if you are a 4.75 guy. A simple 3 yarder turns in to 8,9 or a 1st down

Gotta get another sideline to sideline assassin & better upgrade the back ups.
