This honestly bothers me in two ways. He seriously sounds like he is considering retirement and he is delaying the coaching staff from plans to go in another direction. Just quit playing games and come back. Don’t let Brady take your records in one more trash season for him. You have the team around you to win it all so go out on top.

Wishful thinking with the probably next 2 or 3 thing, not going to happen.

Just saying that four or five years ago people were saying that he will play one more year at the most. Only Brees knows how long he wants to continue. I can be wishful, but no one can say it's "not going to happen" with any degree of certainty.

In my opinion I think that Brees is to much of a competitor to hang them up.
Probably would like to get to the Big Dance one more time.
