I agree more often than not with what you contribute here. However, I disagree with MT on this one. Networks pay money. Teams pay money. But neither is directly connected.
There is plenty of room for everyone to make money in and around the NFL enterprise. With his ability to predict and explain plays Romo is arguably the best. Guys like Joe Buck and even Troy Aikman don't come close. IMO, Romo makes the game more watchable.
Besides that, he's in demand (just like MT) and so CBS paid for his services. This is big for a network that shells out a billion in programming rights. Could you imagine what Monday Night Football would pay not to have Booger and Tesitore limp across 4 hours of live football anymore?
When MT tweets this out he only sounds immature and jealous.
