Re: Michael Thomas cites new Tony Romo deal in opposition to CBA
I just heard that Nick Solder, an NFL team rep, asked fifteen players on his team's roster if they would be willing to play a 17th game in exchange for the added benefits and pay provided for in the proposed CBA and they all said that they would. This is pretty much the vibe I'm getting from around the league. The vocal minority that are speaking in opposition are just that ... a minority. Solder said that while the deal isn't perfect it is much better than what they had and there is no guarantee that if the deal was rejected that another would be any better and it could very possibly be worse.

I also read that Michael Thomas admittedly had not kept up with any of the negotiations the PA and the league have been having over the past ten months and his comments, and those of other players who have not been involved, are making those players that have been involved even more determined to get the deal approved.

I’m here to beat on this dead horse.
Mike, c’mon man. Don’t be a dumba**. One injury away from turning in applications like the rest of us. |
