That being said it seems to me that we usually just let talent leave without getting anything in return. How many probowl starters are on other teams that we just let walk? IMO this is a weakness in Mickey's game.

Again, there is nothing to get in return for Teddy leaving. As far as for Loomis making things work, to what end with Teddy? We do not need two starting QBs.


Now I am going to turn your argument back on you. Mickey Loomis took Drew Brees and not only made him a Pro-Bowl QB but Hall of fame, All Pro, Super Bowl winning QB... Mickey Loomis took Taysom Hill (whom no one wanted) and made him arguably worthy of a first round tender. Shall I continue?
