May you rest in Paradise Glenn ( Forever Fan ) I can't thank you enough for all those crazy cat video and pictures. You brought me and a lot of others pure joy when we looked at those pictures. God, I loved every second of it.

HaloM and SmashmouthA, some kind of way , can his family see these messages?
He was thought of nicely by those they met and who he just met here talking about the team.
This situation, you cannot even have a proper funeral.

Glenn's wife is aware and knows about this thread. We hoped he would come back and we would print this thread and give it to him. We may still do that to give to his family.

We've had some community members here at Black & Gold who's light has shown brightly, as much as I appreciate all here, few shown brighter than Glennie's did...

In a simple post, he could break the ice, ground us to reality, or just wrap us in a blanket of comforting, real perspective with the most absurd, but measured posts...

I will miss my friend and in my heart, I weep for myself that I never got to socialize with him and share in an evening of laughing with good friends...

Maiden was on target, I will pray for his soul to be at rest and for his wife and family to find comfort and perspectives of joy in his happiest memories...

He was the heart of the community here. You can't replace him. This place will never be the same again. This is a good community, so we'll live on, but it won't even be close to the same.

I haven't been checking in on the site for a few weeks or so but this is very sad to hear. ForeverFan will be truly missed...we didn't always see eye to eye on everything but we were always respectful of each others opinions. He will truly be missed on the board and game day chats.

I lost my last uncle to COVID-19 at the beginning of the month after he put in a good fight. My prayers go out to his family and friends as well.
