Re: Emmanuel Sanders

He'll put up Jake Reed kind of numbers for us. 3-500 yds maybe. He's going to get hurt I know that much due to history and age. I honestly would not be surprised if he's way down on the depth chart. He's still a good pickup though. We don't need superstars, just someone to get open and grab some tough ones now and then.

I don't know Beastmode. After looking at Sanders film I'm super impressed with how smooth and efficient he is. He may be older but if he's stayed healthy before he'll probably be more than fine for a few years. I think he's dynamic and expect much higher numbers. He excels across the middle and intermediate routes which is what drew throws best now.

I believe that you will be pleasantly surprised with his production.

Totally agree. I thought it was a decent signing for a safety net but I expected us to bring someone else in a little younger. This is going to be Cam Merideth 2.0.

Sounds like the same thoughts that you had on Latavius Murray. You were so sure he'd get injured and not finish the season that you paid me $20 for being wrong. You also said he'd be buried on the depth chart. You do not have a very good record of free agent evaluation.

Meredith was coming off an injury. Sanders is coming off a season in which he started 19 of twenty games and played in all twenty. He is one of FIVE WR's in the NFL to have been targeted 500+ times and had fewer than 20 drops over the past five seasons. That puts him in the same company as Michael Thomas and Antonio Brown. He is anything but a Cam Meredith 2.0.
