Re: Louisiana issues statewide stay-at-home order to combat coronavirus spread

Before I have to deal with anymore asinine presumptive replies, I am merely having a discussion with Mr. Cruze and not trying to kill any ones Memaw.

Death is not an acceptance, it is inevitable, it is as certain as life; as you are fully aware. The subject makes for some of the most illogical thoughts and actions that I have ever seen. It is extremely difficult to have a rational discussion about human attrition which is odd because death is the only guaranteed part of life.

People vehemently protest its acceptance, even 'just one'... but these same people have gotten behind the wheel of a vehicle intoxicated and willfully accepted not only their death but the death of others in their path as a possible outcome of that action.

So it is rather hypocritical for most people to say a word about risking life when a person expresses concern and a desire to not destroy their children's future by letting the economy fail in a panic.

I believe we have all seen this curve and heard talk about flattening it. Flattening the curve has nothing to do with prevention or stopping the virus and everything to do with not overwhelming the healthcare system to allow people to get sick and recover at a managed rate... They aren't lowering the total infection rate, they are dragging it out. When TheDude said "run its course", the government is doing exactly just that because they cant stop it, they are only trying to manage the peak.

Nothing is going to change the mortality rate of Covid-19, your government wants to change the rate of system failure induced mortality. Because..... politicians.. public opinion... reelectability...
