Re: Taysom Hill will have same role as No. 2 QB
Awesome! I have some buddies that aren't Saints fans that watched a couple games with me last year that were asking about Hill because they enjoyed watching him play so much. I told them that he probably wasn't going to be used the same way this year because he'd probably be the #2.
They were bummed out. And so was I. The guy is making people fans of the Saints that weren't fans of the Saints. So this is great news! I love watching him play all over the place! |

His role did not change much when Teddy took over.
Should he still be in for all of the ST packages? Probably not. |

Not all packages but definitely when a spark is needed. He provides that much
needed spark when the team is struggling. See the blocked punts against Tampa, Falcons and also a kickoff return. The man is an athlete. Might not be a starting QB but he is an athlete and should be played wherever is most beneficial to the team. |

Regardless of what Payton says, I would be shocked if his role wasn't greatly diminished if he was truly the #2 QB. There had better be at least a #2b on game day. |

He adds a dimension on punts (both sides) but he doesn't need to be on either KO team, especially with 10 games inside domes where returns are a rarity |
