Re: 2020 NFL Draft: New Orleans Saints
I think that most all of us would agree that with the latter years of Brees' career at hand that the Saints would be in a win now mode. Why, ... anyone of any intelligence would wonder, ... why would the Saints trade one of their best offensive weapons (Kamara) to draft a player with a high first round pick that has no chance of contributing this year when you are in an obvious win now mode?
Not implying you are not intelligent, shawnkytonk. I was referring to the pundits coming up with these crazy scenarios. |

FTR.....I'm not a Tua believer, and his injuries just help cement that. I'm assuming that's who the person whose coming up with these scenarios would predict us to pick. |

Re: 2020 NFL Draft: New Orleans Saints
The more I read, the more that I want to draft a tight end this year and I wouldn't mind using an early mid round pick for the right player. The two tight end set is ideal for Drew since his deep balls are questionable now. It happens when people get older but there is still no one better at the game. Sanders will help with the underneath stuff as well.
I still want a lineman with our first pick if the value is there. I'd prefer to move a mobile tackle inside to play guard if one is available. If not I've read about several mid round projects that might work in our system. |

One week from the draft and Mel Kiper’s Mock Draft 4.0 has the Saints selecting... Clemson CB AJ Terrell. Not a bad pick. He struggled against Ja’Marr Chase in the National Championship but who didn’t last season?

Grady Jarrett and Javon Kinlaw next to each other? Oh boy, thank goodness we have Andrus Peat. ![]() |
