Does this mean that he is tradeable with that contract? If he could keep his weight down, report in shape, and somehow stay healthy we could trade him later when he falls back to Peat being on his seat again!

If so he'll be worth every penny of the contract. That is actually fairly cheap given the flashes he has shown of what he can do.

Guido I really trust your opinions on players. Still, my eyes have never looked at Peat once since he came into camp fat and out of shape and thought "good job"....it's always more like "DAMN!"

I realize that he's been hurt consistently and played through pain. On the other hand, I have seen my mother fight through pain and I don't want her playing football just because she deals well with pain. She's a tough cookie too!

Don't trust my opinion. Trust those that know FAR more than any of us. Whether some of us believe it or not. Just saying. Nobody is right 100% of the time, but I'll put my trust in those that have ALL of the information at hand every time.
