For instance, last year I made note of what I thought was poor O-line blocking both passing and rushing. The regular season opened up with the same problems. In fact, it was more than midway through the season before I thought the center of the line started really playing well together. The tackles never got it together. As similar thing was seen on the run D. What I'm looking at is how our starters do against their starters. No, it doesn't tell everything, but it will give an indication of what we have. Then we can look at our backups versus their backups. That will show what kind of depth we have as compared to the other team. There's a lot to learn from preseason. There's just not a lot to learn from the box score. |

I agree, that's why I said:
Are they gonna air the game? I won't get to see it. |

I don't care to see anything to spectacular, just want to see them go through the motions... I mean I don't want to give anything up for the Reg season, and I don't wanna get to aggressive and get someone hurt.

Yeah. No confusion on offense. A good, cohesive showing of the "new" offensive strategy by all. A smart, swarming, heady defense. I wanna see some head-knockin'. A little something that shows a team effort. Focused. 8) |

if they can't hold their own, we are in trouble, because there will be injuries serious or not.........i go to case in point, new england. if your backups can not take up where the starters left off, hang it up. pre-season in my opinion is where you will see how the team will fare the rest of the season...............smitty |
