Deadline approaches to make Taysom Hill an RFA offer
Saints quarterback Taysom Hill has not yet signed his restricted free agency tender. By Friday, there will be one less reason not to.
That’s the deadline for any unsigned restricted free agent to sign an offer sheet with another team. After that, any RFA will remain with his current team or, in theory, not play. Read the rest: https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.co...-an-rfa-offer/ |

What's gunna happen Oak?
I don't know what to think on this one to be honest. Sean's been saying all the things like he's his very own Steve Young but I just know..Lip service or what?Guess it's about to reveal itself one way or the other right. |

Re: Deadline approaches to make Taysom Hill an RFA offer
I personally think they put a First Rounder on him to ensure that no one would take him and if they did it would benefit the Saints.. This will also lower Taysom's expectations for his next contract as he will have seen what the market perceives as his value.. Unless.... Drew gets hurt and Taysom produces like we will need him to produce, if tha happens he will be worth what ever we have to pay him.

I guess Taysom is waiting to see if he gets any offers before signing...just for kicks to see if anyone comes calling. Then again, What do I know? Nada!

Saints did the right thing. Now he is. Hoping we get him signed long term. Worth Bridgewater (when he was here) money easy.

Taysom's completion rate is not all that great and some of his passes were off target but somehow our receivers came down with the ball. I anticipate seeing more passes from Taysom to look less predictable and Drew handing the ball to a running back for an even distribution of the ball. Taysom is a mismatch everywhere he lines up except maybe at QB. We just don't know. I'm hoping that he knows he's loved and valuable in New Orleans and signs a nice long reasonable contract to stay here for the long term. He's got a solid role and is better loved than half of the QB's by their respective teams. |
