I've seen the Saints skip over LSU players in the draft and post draft undrafted free agency and pick other players who didn't make the team, but the LSU players they skipped went on to strong, lengthy careers. In some ways, we have a blind spot to LSU talent. Nobody is saying it should be a feeder for the Saints, but LSU players shouldn't be discounted because they grew up within an hour of where the Saints are located.
