Re: WWL Radio: Cantrell: Saints football with no fans in 'the way to go'
Just wondering how much that would keep the flags from flying on crowd influenced calls? If the games would be more square.

Re: WWL Radio: Cantrell: Saints football with no fans in 'the way to go'
I just talked to a family member who works for the CDC. He said what they have found out about this virus in the last week is absolutely horrifying.
He said 1. It’s in the water. Testing has shown up in drinking water in some areas although they do not yet know if it can be transferred to humans through water. 2. The strains they have tested have the same genomes as the virus on the west coast. Seems to be a milder form than the type in NYC but they only tested two samples so far. This type of testing is new. 3. The virus is mutating, to what end he wasn’t clear 4. In spite of how screwed up the media is they are actually downplaying it in order to avoid public panic. Info is being released in stages to help slow panic. 5. 50% of people who have it are asymptotic. They have only tested 2 samples so far and she expects La to have more strains than anywhere else because of Mardi Gras but they think it was here well before Mardi Gras. |

A friend who knows someone that saw Bill Gates insists The virus can be spread through sports sites causing members to make all sorts of wild claims
How fast can the coronavirus mutate? By Yasemin Saplakoglu - Staff Writer March 06, 2020 The new coronavirus, like all other viruses, mutates, or undergoes small changes in its genome. |

I still don't see how this works. I understand you don't want thousands of people gathered in a confined space, but are they not worried about the players spreading it amongst themselves?
And if you told Saints/LSU fans that they could only attend the games if they were wearing a biohazard suit, you can bet the farm on the fact that the stadium would still be full. |

Positive players will quarantine separately until they are negative. The negative players will live and train at one location and not have contact with anyone outside the organization. They will also test before each game on game day. Sounds like a pain in tha ass but it would work. |
