I was curious so i watched two highlights of this kid. One play stood out most and it's here at the 0:47 mark.
To me, this looks a lot like how Kittle moves and they way he's used in the SF Offense. Josh Hill can't move like this... While I don't expect NFL defenders to ricochet off him, I can absolutely see him dragging a couple tacklers for an extra 7 yards. Excited for this kid! |

If he can indeed be compared to Kittle or Gronk then we definitely got a steal.
Hopefully we can trade Warford for a couple of late picks just for the entertainment value. Better than cutting him outright, I guess, even if we get nothing out of the picks. |

Make sure you watch the interview posted above... it's about 19 minutes, very insightful.
This kid is going to be a stud. He is super smart in addition to football smarts. He used to play CB and QB. So he seems to truly understand the game if you listen to his interview. And he absolutely loves to block and get his opponents on their back. |

Trequan runs around like he has no clue where he is, then for one game a season has this lightbulb moment where he catches more than one pass. Coleman was UDFA and made little difference in the passing game, was primarily a blocker. Meach was decent, but that was back in 2007. I just get the feeling that Payton doesnt value that position early and seems to think it can be sorted via UDFA. Then there we are again, eliminated from the playoffs because no one outside of Thomas can get open. |
