Thats why Mora and the Colts drafted Peyton Manning.

If you seriously believe that we wouldn't win more games with Peyton Manning at the helm, then nevermind... I don't even have to comment.

This is the backwards type of thinking i'm talking about.

1. I was being sarcastic showing that Mora DID care about quarterback and using that quote is...bologna.

2. A different QB may have scored an additional touchdown in games, yes. Why wouldn't that translate to a win? We have had many close games in the past. Also, a different quarterback might not have turned the ball over as often in his own redzone giving the opposing team's offense 30 yards to pay dirt.

When your quarterback throws the ball away on a two point conversion, you have problems.

Frankly, most of the turnovers were not a result of us being behind. We got behind because of the turnovers. Get it straight.

Just stop the turnovers in our own red zone and we'd have won more games. Let him keep fumbling 1 yard from us scoring a TD, just stop losing the ball deep in our own territory.

I think Manning could handle that. Same with Montana, Young, Unitas, Dilfer, Green, Delhomme, Palmer, Vick, and a host of others.

BTW, our defense was ranked 11th in in the NFL in 2003, according to ESPN.
