Ruiz needs to be working with Drew to get his timing down. Once he does that then he'll be the starting center. If it doesn't happen quickly then he's our new right guard.

Zach Baun for me. Considered by many coaches as a high IQ guy .. he'll get his share of reps/playing time.

Some scouting reports (Walter & SI) gave him 1st round grades.

There were a few here that wanted Murray/Queen. I think ZB can be just as good, if not better than both.

Another former QB and WR. Another player that knows more than one position. Or at least how they think and react.

Good point.

Right after the draft, a video surfaced on YouTube highlighting his play at QB. IIRC he scored 6 or 7 TD's in one game .

Versatility is key.

This seems to be a formula that both Payton and Belichick have been following as far as players recently. No surprise they have won the most game over the past three years. Perhaps the two best coaches in the game today.

Rookies will be the difference in another early playoff exit or finally getting that second Superbowl...

Good Lord I hope not jp. Ruiz will have a tough time getting the calls and snap of the timing down without OTA's. However, we can slide him out to RT if necessary. Baun is actually going to be asked to play a different position in the NFL. We know that doesn't always work. Trautman needs a lot of time because of how difficult the tight end position can be to learn. That's three qualified rookies who could make an impact if they are sufficiently prepared.
