It’s supposed to be distilled with flavor profiles that compliment Sazeracs like licorice etc. You are better off using Templeton or Old Overholt. Unless you just want it for the cool factor and the fact it’s named for a cocktail invented here here I wouldn’t bother.![]()
It’s also made in Kentucky. Try Seven Three whiskey. It’s distilled here in New Orleans and is much better. I don’t know if they have a rye. |
