Clowney's never been a great sack guy.
2015 he had 4.5 sacks tied for 103rd in the league 2016 he had 6.0 sacks tied for 52nd in the league 2017 he had 9.5 sacks tied for 19th in the league 2018 he had 9.0 sacks tied for 23rd in the league 2019 he had 3 sacks tied for 125th in the league He is a great run stuffer but do the Saints really want to pay sack master money for a run stuffer. They're already pretty good at that. Doesn't seem like a good use of the salary cap to me. |
