Re: Saints Sign LB Nigel Bradham
While he doesn't have a history of generating turnovers frequently, he's a solid performer...
His signing may mean the end not only for Kiko, who's still not healthy, but also Craig Robertson, a cost saving move... |

Re: Saints Sign LB Nigel Bradham
I think Craig Robertson may be opting out soon, he and his wife have a new born child. Which would explain this move.

Re: Saints Sign LB Nigel Bradham
The move can also be explained by the fact that we had two players opt out and had two slots to fill. Might as well take a look see.

If he is only as good as Robertson is now then I'll be happy. If he plays like Alonzo then I'll be stoked.

Re: Saints Sign LB Nigel Bradham
Alonzo just went on the PUP list I believe. This is a great signing to keep the LB'er core strong. Thor has a history of shoulder injuries so he will likely get to see some action early and often. Craig Robertson has slowed down after his initial impact a few years back but he's still good on special teams.
We also need to remember that this is our LB'ers first season under a new position coach who is stepping into his shoes. Nolan will be a hard coach to follow and keep them playing with the same intensity and prepared. So, another experienced and seasoned vet will be helpful to keep or LB'ers playing at a high level. I recognized the name because I watched him play for the Eagles with a good yankee friend of mine from Philly. |
