Re: NFL TV Coverage Map Week 1
I'll DVR the game so I can fast forward through the political venue. This is the kind of stuff that made me give up watching football. The announcers are discussing everything but the football game being played. The Saints are what I care about not the NFL.

Look for Nantz/Romo when the Saints are at home against an AFC opponent or a Saints cross-flex. That's how Saints games get to CBS. The former will be Saints-Chiefs week 15. The latter is an open question. SFIAH |

Re: NFL TV Coverage Map Week 1
I've never really noticed the announcers. While watching a game I am watching the game. Whoever is "announcing" the game is nothing more than background noise. That's why it's always puzzled me about how some fans seem to dislike some announcing crew more than others. Now back in the day when I had to listen to games on the radio it was a different story. There the announcers are vital.

I'm simply not a fan of Buck and Aikman (I c an tolerate him due to the X's and O's IQ) but that Romo feller is kind of exciting. His ability to analyze and predict what's coming is refreshing. |
