Re: Saints Still Looking For Permission To Play Sunday
Nope. The Saints qualify as a business and do not fall under that umbrella. This guy doesn't know what he's talking about. They already have the full go ahead as does every team in the NFL. Don't believe everything you see on twitter.
Why can the Saints play in New Orleans under city's Phase 2 restrictions? A 'workplace exemption' The New Orleans Saints will get to play football in the Crescent City this weekend, despite the city of New Orleans remaining in Phase 2 of its reopening plan. The Saints qualify for a "workplace exemption," and have applied for one with the state, said Dr. Jennifer Avegno, the director of the New Orleans Health Department, during a press conference on Thursday. |

Re: Saints Still Looking For Permission To Play Sunday
Context, Folks, Context...
What this is about is why the Saints and Tulane are being allowed to play football and local high schools, especially the Catholic League, are not playing this Fall - Inconsistent Application of Authority... So at yesterday's presser Mayor LaToya Pay your taxes, I don't pay taxes Cantrelle and the Chief Medical Officer said the State (Governor, Legislature) & Saints made arrangements, superceding their authority... When asked again with the caveat about why Tulane was being allowed to play, those same Democrats, not used to getting hot questions, aka friendly fire, from a complicit press, were unable to answer directly... Background, Travers (news) and Fletcher (sports) Mackel are local-grown twins (De La Salle HS, Loyola NO), Dad was local golf pro, who report/shout British-tabloid style with New Orleanian 'Yat accents... The Mackels are locally networked and are getting pressed among their peers in the uptown New Orleans community from folks frustrated with the uneven enforcement of Pandemic rules... |
It's not that my way is the right way, I just make the right way my way...

Re: Saints Still Looking For Permission To Play Sunday
Relax folks. New Orleans will be playing football. Don't frett the petty stuff. Pet the sweaty stuff.
