This is a high ankle sprain injury we're talking about. If Sunday was the NFC title game, sure suit him up and lets go but we're not. Lots of football left to be played.

Other guys will need to STEP UP at the WR spot.
It sounds like it is Thomas that wants to press through. I read earlier that they were considering the IR, but he basically talked them out of it. I can't find the story now. It on my facebook feed.

Re: Saints at Raiders Wednesday Injury Report

Dr. David Chao also appeared on NFL Radio today addressing the Thomas injury. He said people need to understand there are differing degrees of high ankle injuries. He said it may just come down to a matter of pain tolerance. He also said the player, the team, and the medical staff all need to okay a decision to play. Any one of the three have an absolute veto power. He said the medical staff includes the trainers, as well as the physician. In other words, if he does play then all parties decided with all the information at hand that he was ready.

He also brought up the point of the 3 week IR and the fact that since the Saints have not place him on that list the injury must not be very serious.

Looks like the offensive line is back at full practice.

Excited to see what Ruiz does. But I'am losing hope in Davenport. The talent is there no doubt but if you aren’t on the field what good is it

He has missed eight games out of 36 in his career including playoffs. It isn't like he has never seen the field. He has never missed more than three regular season games in a year. You are feeding into the negative hype, LS83. He is only one game into his third year and he was an absolute stud last season. Talk to me after week eight.

Now slowly back away from that ledge. As the great philosopher Aaron Rodgers once stated, "R-E-L-A-X. Relax."

Aaron Rodgers is a douche and a half, lol. That said I mean come playoff time when we need him he’s on ir. When it really counts

Second, but I can tell you from experience, no not NFL experience, but he should continue to play with a hard limited snap count...

Had one of those in college and rest, rest, rest cost me my maximized athleticism and I was never the same...

They should keep him moving, but limited...

I hear this opinion a lot when someone doesn't like a player and I find it interesting. I heard this also most recently about Tre Quan. A lot of our picks are starters for other teams right now. Where was the pride ,and ego then? Rattling off the top of my head Cooks, Stills, Hicks, I'm sure there are more. IMO if they're still here, there's a reason and it's probably not "well, I drafted him so high, I would look bad letting him go"
