That being said, Carolina is a complete disaster and losing CM for a month or more isn’t going to help them. And Atlanta is just a hot mess, if ABlank were the type of owner to fire coaches inside the season, based on tangible results (aka the record), I would say Quinn will be fired in the next few weeks. But, I just don’t see that happening. Bottom line, there are concerns, but I’m still buying the Saints win the NFC South kool-aid. |

True, but the difference is that the defense has sucked on many seasons during Brees' tenure while number 9 has been great all through that - it just feels like an end of an era.
I guess it hits home since I'm two weeks older than Drew and I'm starting to feel the years myself. The dominant emotion I was feeling after the game was sadness, not disappointment, frustration or anger. |
