Defense collapsed, Payton and Drew
Never understood the Jenkins signing outside of being a vocal leader he is past his prime. Waller dominated the whole secondary. No adjustment was made. Why not bracket? Was the focus on Ruggs?
Drew’s arm is toast. That’s evident by the inaccuracy and lack of deep balls. The int was embarrassing. I think we still win the South but major changes have to occur with our quarterback play and secondary if we want to advance in the playoffs. Can’t dink and dunk to a super bowl victory. Coach loves wasting timeouts on challenges he has no chance of winning. It’s mind boggling every year. |

It's embarrassing to basically get beat by a single player in a team sport other than basketball. Waller is quite good, but we didn't need to make him look like the Jerry Rice of tight ends.

Re: Defense collapsed, Payton and Drew
So far it looks like two of the Saints top free agent signings are complete busts, Jenkins and Sanders. Brees looks like an aging QB looking for that one last moment of glory.
Did anyone notice the great numbers Brees put up, thanks to the Raiders prevent defense and some serious stat boosting during pure garbage time at the end of the game? Can you say Jim Everett impersonation... |

Brees had a bad game, like Brady did last game. And MT was awol due to injury. Defense had lapses. Shows how our team failed to adjust... which is coaching related.
News flash... we're not winning every game. Move on and on to the next game. | |
