Saints vs Packers
I feel like a big part of the Saints offensive game plan should be to pound the Packers run defense with the combo of Kamara & Murray running the ball...a lot. The Packers D against the run is suspect and this would take some pressure off Brees and the Michael Thomas-less WR corps

I'd like to hear about a pass that went further then 7 or 8 yards in the air.

Re: Saints vs Packers
Without MT on the field, the ground game would be the best plan of attack.
Once their D is softened up a bit then Drew can see which one of his receivers is gonna catch some balls. |

Re: Saints vs Packers
Packers LB’s are terrible. Pound the rock and run routes out of the backfield all day. Forget passing to WR’s altogether.
Defensively, they don’t have Davante Adams... which means Lattimore will get burned by a backup because he doesn’t care. Rodgers doesn’t throw to his TE’s so as long as we continue to be great against the run we’ll be fine. |

Re: Saints vs Packers
Totally prepared to accept getting beat the phuck down. This team is average at best. No offense. Can't win with the Defense on the field that long. We need a QB that is more of a running threat and can chunk deep with power. We do not have it.

Re: Saints vs Packers
While I like the concept, it simply isn’t a Payton “thing”.....he’s more of a, hey guys hold my beer and watch what I can do with all my toys....dedication to a run game, whether it is working or not is a concept he can’t seem to grasp. With arguably one of the top O lines in the league....he simply won’t commit to the run game for 60 minutes, hell for even a half.

Re: Saints vs Packers
Cover 2 never use to be safe against Drew because he would just attack the seams and dismantle it.
Now however, Cover 2 or Single high is completely fine against Brees because he can't attack teams deep and it means they can committ all this extra defensive help to the primary receiver - Kamara out of the backfield. |
