An mindless rant jumping from various points without any structural argument to the writer's hopeful, at least mine, conclusion to the article...

We've better writers right here on BlackandGold.com...
Did you go to the site? It is labeled as an editorial/opinion piece. I happen to agree with his opinion that out of the QB's we have on our roster Brees gives us the best chance to win on a weekly basis and the best chance to win another Lombardi. Is he the same QB as he was in 2009? In 2013? In 2018? No, probably not, but he is still one of the best all round QB's in the NFL today.

I sure didn't mean to get you so riled up by posting his editorial.

Oh, and where did he present any "argument made countering Brees' obvious decline in physical skills..."? From what I read he mentioned Brees' decline.

Read the article. Once again you make a false assumption that I'm riled up when the real question is are you riled up? You get pretty hostile in any criticism of the Saints. Any. Criticism.

In regard to the "argument made countering Brees' obvious decline in physical skills..." you need only look at your post and the article where he writes it off in a dismissive tone - read your own article...

And what is wrong with a "dismissive tone" in an opinion piece?

And, yes, I apologize for being perhaps the most dedicated Saints fan on this site. Shoot me. What exactly is so wrong with that? Why is that a bad thing?

Four games into a weird season. No OTA's or mini-camps. Limited practices. Yeah, let's start making blanket judgements with all of this incredible volume of sample.

Once again, I apologize for being a totally dedicated fan. Sorry, sorry, sorry.
