Re: Happy Birthday Saints

Superbowl is the obvious choice, as is the first game back in the Dome after Katrina.

First playoff win is a nice pick, but...

Gonna go with the win that gave the Saints their first winning season. Goal line stand against the Steelers to secure it, I remember not being able to watch.

Re: Happy Birthday Saints

One of my favourites was Halloween game 2010 season vs Steelers.

Down to 1 healthy CB on gameday, Saints had safeties playing all over the field.

Drew threw a dart to Lance Moore for the go ahead TD and then Leigh Torrence of all people picked off Roethlisberger to end the game.

November 67 second win of season, but we were undefeated against the Falcons.

Dad cracked Great jokes at my Mom and his in-laws for years about the Creole Belles and their futility; Dad was from East Texas and a Tom Landry's Cowboys fan...

But, when Gleason blocked that punt and Deloatch scored - Dad stood up clapped hard like when he coached us boys and said C'mon you SOBs we need this, and never sat down for the rest of the game...

Two of my aunts, two uncles and several of my cousins were double-dumbfounded - first by the play, but Dad's response took it to another level, we all had tears in our eyes...

That was a great moment shortly before he died that spring...

It's not that my way is the right way, I just make the right way my way...
