Re: Winston Eating the W

Speakng of Ready. Remember the HOF RB Divine Ozigbo the Saints cut last year. 9 rushes for 27 yds 3.0 Avg.

Ozigbo's absence comes as no surprise considering he hasn't been able to practice since promptly re-injuring the same hamstring that forced him to miss the season's first six games. Considering he seems to have returned too early from his original injury, Ozigbo will likely take extra precautions to make sure his hamstring fully heals this time before he sees the field again

I'm sure the kid was happy to get on the field against that team...the team that gave up on him. So let him eat his "W". I bet he slept well last night. Good for him!
It’s becoming obvious that all those interceptions are just as much on Bruce as they are on his Qb’s. I only heard the tail end of it but I heard a stat that Qb’s under him have thrown more interceptions than any other coach in the league.
Gives me hope for Winston.

At this point it is what it is, he's a Saint and the team has embraced him and there's no looking back now. From what I see, If his number is called he looks ready to step in.

He stopped doing that. I actually heard that he had to break himself off the habit because of Covid. He said it was hard to stop.

I'll take your word on that my friend. I do remember when we played the Buc's the first time this season there was a count of how often he licked his fingers and the timing of when he licked his fingers on his throwing hand. It was the first game and he had been working on it during the off season, yet it was still automatic. I guess I just hadn't noticed it since then. Thanks for the info. Brittany probably feels a lot better kissing him after a game now.
